Caleb Blakenship, Tennessee State University – Computer Science Major, Marine Veteran

Morris Eguakun, Tennessee State University – Computer Science Major
Morris is interning with the Strategic Resource Group at Stratasan, where he is learning about the common tools of a healthcare analyst including industry terms, targets, and strategies.
Our interns will be included in interactions of varying size and type in the healthcare world, gaining firsthand experience with what information the healthcare industries’ business intelligence and marketing teams are seeking on both a regular and exploratory basis. We want to broaden the skill set of our interns beyond spreadsheets and numbers to a point where they are comfortable identifying and presenting a narrative from their analyses.
We recently shared more about how we’re updating the Stratasan internship program, targeting local colleges and students with an eye towards diversity and inclusion. For more insight into these changes, check out this post.
Manager, Digital Marketing
Carly joined Stratasan in April 2018 as the Digital Marketing Manager. She is taking Stratasan’s digital marketing efforts to the next level via her expertise in inbound marketing and deep Hubspot knowledge. Carly has carried her love of marketing from high school on through her college studies at Middle Tennessee State University, where she received a Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing. Having previously worked in the tech space, Carly brings many years of digital marketing experience and knowledge to Stratasan. She is a Tennessee native who lived in Colorado for five years and made her way back to Nashville in 2016. When she isn’t focusing on all things digital, you can catch her on a hiking trail with her husband and dog, trying new food, or at a music concert.
Welcome to the team, Carly!
SDR: Client Engagement
A Chicago native, Katie recently relocated to Nashville and joined Stratasan’s sales team in February 2018. With previous work experience in healthcare sales, Katie is a perfect addition to the team as a Sales Development Representative.
Katie attended the University of Iowa and double majored in Marketing and Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys checking out new restaurants, seeing concerts, being around family and friends, and spending time with her shih tzu Izzy. Katie will become an aunt for the first time in April!
Welcome to the team, Katie!
SDR: Client Engagement
Caitlin joined the Stratasan sales team in 2018 after working previously at Elite Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. Having studied Special Education at Clemson University, Caitlin loves cheering for the Clemson Tigers every opportunity she gets. She’s lived in Nashville a total of nine years but has moved around the country a lot. A self-proclaimed “newspaper brat” she’s lived in a total of six states and has moved eight times. The oldest and only girl from a family of four, Caitlin was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader for nine years. These days, when not working, she loves being outside and exploring new things or places. She’s a huge Predator’s fan, loves concerts and local music, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
Eric joined the Stratasan team as a Web Developer in November 2017. Originally from the Nashville area, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and History, Masters of Science in Earth Sciences, and a Graduate Certificate in GIS from the University of Memphis. Before joining Stratasan, Eric worked at the Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER) at the University of Memphis. Starting as a GIS Project Coordinator, he worked his way up to Senior Research Software Developer. Responsibilities while at CAESER included writing tools to automate spatial analyses, performing data quality and integrity checks, and creating web mapping applications for visualization and data collection. Most of these tasks were accomplished with Python. A self-proclaimed Linux-, open-source-, and geo-geek, Eric spends his free time with his wife, two kids, and two rescued Shelties. He likes riding his bike, hiking, reading, and learning new things, usually related to programming, databases, or GIS.
Data Specialist, Data Services Team
Dave joined the Stratasan team in October 2017 as a Data Specialist. Originally from Hershey, PA, he graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009 with a B.S. in Information Technology, a concentration in Database Management Systems, and a minor in Business Administration. While new to the healthcare industry, Dave brings a strong data-centric skillset across the data engineering, data architecture, and data analysis disciplines. Prior to Stratasan, he has worked primarily in the financial services industry: in Boston, MA with Fidelity Investments and, most recently, spending time with Chubb Insurance while living in London, UK. Upon deciding to return home from the UK, the prospect of more sunny days, the thriving restaurant scene, the healthcare infrastructure, the friendly people, and the (relatively) low cost of living led him and his wife to choose Nashville as their new home in May of 2017. When not working, Dave can be found around town running with the East Nasty running club, out supporting his favorite “football” teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Tottenham Hotspur, contributing his technical skills to the civic nonprofit “Code for Nashville,” or holed up at home trying to find his inner Bob Vila as a first time homeowner.
Client Engagement/Sales Development Representative
Megan joined Stratasan’s Growth team as a Sales Development Representative in March 2017. Her past work experience was concentrated in higher education administration, where she worked in student recruitment, alumni relations, and annual giving. Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. Her professional passions are relationship building, strategic planning, business development, and communications. A native of Bowling Green, KY, her move to Nashville brought her a bit closer to home. Megan loves being outdoors, traveling, reading, and volunteering. She’s been to 18 countries, Jeopardy! is her favorite show, and she tries to do at least one adventurous thing a year. In 2016, she went skydiving. What makes Megan happy is living life to the fullest and being surrounded by good people!
Junior Support and Systems Engineer
Davis’ first stint with Stratasan was in 2015 as an intern on the development team. After graduating the following year from Lipscomb University with a degree in Information Technology, Davis joined Stratasan in a full-time capacity as a Support and Systems Engineer. He is responsible for client-side support as well as implementing IT infrastructure in order to meet the growing needs of Stratasan. A Nashville native, Davis likes to tinker with technology in his free time, providing free tech-related services for friends, friends of friends, and neighbors. Additionally, he likes to get out of the city and trail-ride dirtbikes.
