Erin O’Rourke
Data Engineer
Erin O’Rourke is a Data Engineer at Stratasan. In this role, she will curate and scrub state data to make it available through our core SaaS platforms.
Erin attended the Nashville Software School Data Analyst Boot Camp. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a master’s degree in Governance and Rights.
In her previous work as a paralegal in farmworker legal aid, she found herself captivated by the questions surrounding making data more accessible and actionable to everyone, which led her to pursue a career in data science.
Prior to joining Stratasan, she was the Administrative and Technology Manager at the ACLU and worked with databases for a large bookstore.
Erin lived in New York for most of her life and then moved to Peru for three years to learn Spanish in preparation for working with farmworkers. Her time working in farmworker legal aid led her to Nashville, where she lives with her partner, two dogs, and a cat.
In her free time, she enjoys knitting, spinning yarn, reading, spending time in her garden, and salsa dancing.
