Charles Glover

Sales Engineer

Charles Glover is a sales engineer at Stratasan. In this position, Charles creates and articulates effective solutions to match the specific needs of prospective clients and serves as the technical bridge between Stratasan’s sales leaders and their prospects. Having earned a degree in Finance from Auburn University, Charles began his career in this field, providing analytics to large institutional lenders until their largest client (and the oldest investment bank on Wall Street) very famously went bankrupt in 2008.

For the next several years he lived and played; racing mountain bikes in Damascus, Virginia and skiing in Telluride, Colorado. Instead of becoming Peter Pan, Charles moved home to Nashville to begin work in sales and business development, primarily in finance and consumable products. Most recently, he made the intentional pivot back to analytics, completing a Data Analytics program at Vanderbilt in early 2020. He believes his role now at Stratasan is the perfect fit and an enormous blessing. In his free time, he still loves to ride a bike, but now it’s primarily on the road, not the trail. Lucky to live in the best city in America for live music, he likes to get out to see a large amount of it, preferably at the Ryman Auditorium.

Congratulations, Todd Rode!

VP, Sales

Congratulations to Todd Rode on his recent promotion to VP of Sales for Stratasan. In this position, Todd is responsible for leading new revenue growth, sales operations, and sales development.

Todd comes to Stratasan with 15 years of sales ops and sales development experience, including software startups Consensus Point and Reltio. His previous experience also includes work with Mars and Nissan. Todd earned a BS in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy along with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Congratulations, Melvin Boyd!

Congratulations to Melvin L Boyd III on his recent transition to a full-time member of the Stratasan team! 

Melvin joins as a Sales Associate for Stratasan. In this position, Melvin generates future deals for Stratasan through his outreach and connection with healthcare decision-makers. Having recently retired from more than 27 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force, Melvin is the first full-time hire for Stratasan through the Service 2 Software program.

Barry Archer

Engineering Manager

Barry Archer is the Engineering Manager at Stratasan. In this role, Barry ensures the development team works at maximum efficiency and has clear goals on what needs to be accomplished. A native Nashvillian, he has more than 20 years of experience leading and growing IT teams. After exiting the Army, Barry spent years as a project manager, development manager, director of software development and director of IT.

Barry and his wife Michelle have been married for 27 years, have a daughter, Sydney, and a new puppy named Jack. When he’s not at work, Barry enjoys being outside and spending time with his family.

Welcome to the Team: Michael Clark

Michael Clark

Software Engineer

Michael Clark is a Software Engineer at Stratasan. In this position, Michael builds and maintains tools and services for the Stratasan platform. Before joining Stratasan, Michael worked for Ernst & Young as a software developer. Michael earned two associates degrees from Volunteer State Community College in fine arts and liberal arts. He attended the Nashville Software School’s full-stack development bootcamp and is now a part-time teaching assistant for the school.

Born in Massachusetts, he’s lived in Nashville for most of his life. Michael likes staying up-to-date on current tech trends, providing mentorship for those breaking into the tech industry, and building mobile apps and IoT projects. A maker at heart, he’s constantly building something and enjoys art, hiking, volunteering, and gardening.

Welcome to the Team: Kirren Covey

Kirren Covey

Back-End Web Developer

Kirren Covey is a Back-End Web Developer at Stratasan. In this position, Kirren builds and maintains tools and services for Stratasan products. Prior to joining Stratasan, she worked as a full-stack web developer at Paradigm Environmental, where she collaborated with hydrologic engineers to build applications to aid municipalities in the planning, implementation, and tracking of stormwater management projects. Before that, Kirren was a zookeeper at the Nashville Zoo for six years, specializing in hoofed mammals.

Kirren earned a bachelor’s of science in biology from Central Washington University and completed Nashville Software School’s full-stack web development course. Originally from central Washington State, she has lived in Nashville for seven years. When not working Kirren loves to read, bake, and spend time with her husband, two dogs, two cats, five goats, and cow. She is also a volunteer at the Nashville Zoo and an active member of the Nashville chapter of AAZK (American Association of Zookeepers), which organizes a number of conservation fundraisers each year.

Welcome to the Team: Chad Upjohn

Chad Upjohn

Data Engineer

Chad Upjohn is a Data Engineer at Stratasan. In this position, he creates and manages automated ETL pipelines in support of Stratasan’s goal to make data valuable and accessible to its customers. Chad brings four years of experience with a number of data engineering tools to this position, from his previous work as a data engineer.

A Nashvillian since 2002, he can remember getting lost on his way to Yazoo Brewery in the Marathon building, not having Waze to guide him through the empty space north of Broadway. In his free time, Chad enjoys watching Manchester City of the English soccer league and says that he’s grateful to Sheikh Mansour for “the money to deliver many wins.”

Congratulations, Quinn Robinson!

Sales Analyst

Congratulations to Quinn Robinson on his recent promotion to Sales Analyst!

In this position, Quinn works with all members of the sales team on deal follow-up, assists on sales calls and demos as needed, manages the RFP process and contract term sheets, and fields general support requests from the sales team.

Born and raised in Nashville, Quinn is a recent graduate of The Pontifical College Josephinum where he earned a BA in Philosophy. The fourth child in a family of six, Quinn has always been a motivated self-starter, having run a neighborhood lawn business since the 6th grade. He enjoys health and fitness, being with his family, trail running at Percy Warner Park, and plans to one day live in Northwest Montana near Glacier National Park. He also has a great appreciation for a good book, deep conversation, and his Catholic Faith.

Brian Young is the VP of Marketing at Stratasan. In this role, Brian oversees Stratasan’s product management and go-to-market activities, driving market-driven innovation and demand generation. He has spent the past 20 years helping healthcare technology companies create and execute winning product strategies, and drive revenue growth through integrated marketing programs.

Welcome to the Team: Craig Smith

Craig Smith

VP, Sales

Craig Smith is the VP of Sales at Stratasan. In this position, Craig is responsible for top-line growth for hospitals and health systems with revenue between $1 billion and $5 billion annually. He also ensures that Stratasan’s products and services are properly aligned with client strategic growth initiatives.

Craig comes to Stratasan with over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in healthcare technology and consulting for high-growth, Nashville-based businesses. He earned BA degrees in Economics and Political Science (with a focus on bio-behavioralism) from Brown University and has lived in Nashville most of his adult life.

Craig has an adult son who is one of his favorite people on the planet and a yellow lab named Emmylou. He’s an avid consumer of live music, including shows attached to major music festivals, and typically sees 150+ acts every year. Craig is happiest when skiing down a mountain or running slalom balls behind a towboat.
